The Love Your Heart Project (J’aime mon cœur) is a not-for-profit foundation incorporated under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act (corporation number 1818547-6). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you can exercise.
What we do not collect
We collect no health information. The foundation performs no medical acts, books no appointments and holds no medical records. Please never send us information about your health, your test results or your medications, whether through the site form or by email. If you do, we will delete it as soon as we notice it.
What we collect
- Through the site form: your name, your email address and, if you choose to provide them, your professional role, your pharmacy or practice, your town and the content of your message.
- By email: whatever information you choose to write to us.
- Technical data: our host automatically logs basic information such as IP address, browser type and pages viewed, for security and aggregate statistics.
Why we collect it
Only to answer your message, to arrange or confirm an education session, and to keep the site secure. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We make no decisions about you based solely on automated processing.
Consent
By writing to us or completing the form, you consent to our using this information for the purposes above. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; we will then stop using your information and delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
How long we keep it
Messages received through the form or by email are kept for no more than 24 months after our last exchange with you, then destroyed. Technical logs are kept for our host’s standard retention period.
Who we share it with
We share your information with no sponsor, funder, clinical partner or commercial third party. This site is hosted by Automattic Inc. (WordPress.com), which acts as a service provider and whose servers are located outside Quebec, primarily in the United States. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside Quebec and outside Canada, where it could be accessible to local authorities under applicable law. We have assessed this transfer and consider the information involved to receive adequate protection given its limited sensitivity.
Your rights
You may ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, withdraw your consent, or stop disseminating or de-index it. Write to the address below; we will respond within 30 days.

Privacy incidents
We maintain a register of privacy incidents. If an incident presents a risk of serious injury, we will notify the people affected and the appropriate authority, as the law requires.
If you are not satisfied
If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (if you live in Quebec) or to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
