Effective 5 September 2026.

This website provides general information only and does not replace individualized medical advice. Always consult a qualified health professional for personal health decisions. In an emergency, call 911.

What the foundation does

The Love Your Heart Project educates, identifies and connects. The foundation performs no medical acts, conducts no examinations, makes no diagnoses, prescribes nothing, books no appointments and holds no medical records. In Quebec it operates on a strictly educational basis. The care provider you choose is always the one who does the assessment and follows you from there.

If you are already under care

If you already know you have severe aortic stenosis, another symptomatic valve condition or a recent cardiac event, follow your specialist’s advice rather than using this site to decide about testing. Never change or stop a medication on the basis of this site.

Our sources

Our content follows published guidance from the Canadian Cardiovascular Society and the American College of Cardiology / American Heart Association, including the 2026 ACC/AHA/Multisociety guideline on the management of dyslipidemia. Recommendations change; the information here may not reflect the most recent update, and it never replaces your own health professional’s clinical judgement.

For clinicians

Content aimed at health professionals is educational and is not a clinical protocol. Clinical decisions remain entirely the responsibility of the treating provider.
